1. This step is very important since the Version 12.0 installation will erase your data from the hard drive. Backup your Heaven Cent data from the Utility menu onto a blank diskette or thumb drive. Verify that you have a good backup by starting Windows Explorer (right click on the Start button and left click on Explore). Select the drive you used for backup and verify a file HCDATA.ZIP is there and appropriately sized (100's of KB). You may want to back up to a second diskette or thumb drive just to be safe.
2. From the Heaven Cent web site, click the Version 12.0 Tab.
3. Click save and select a location for the download and then click Save. When the download is finished, close Internet Explorer..
4. Open the Control Panel and select Add/Remove Programs, and remove Heaven Cent
5. Start Windows Explorer and select the directory in which you saved the download and double click on the file HCVER12.0.EXE. This is a self extracting zip file. Select a location to uzip the file and click Unzip. 7 files will be unziped.
6. Select the location where you unziped the files and double click on the extracted file SETUP.EXE and accept the defaults to install Version 12.0.
7. Close Windows Explorer and double click on the Heaven Cent icon now on your desktop. Logon (password is heaven) and select Help/About to verify that Version 12.0 is installed.
8. Restore your backup data.
